The short version: We teach you to build with AI. You own everything you build — always. To power Otto's replies, what you type is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic). We keep your chats with Otto to make him a better teacher. We never sell your data. Don't paste passwords or secrets to any AI. You must be 13+ to use Otto (13–17 with a parent's OK).

What we collect

Your conversations with Otto — stored so we can make Otto a better, clearer guide over time.
Your email — only if you create an account to save your work and start a trial.
Your birth year — collected once at signup to confirm you're old enough (we don't show it or share it).
Basic, anonymous usage info to keep things running.

How Otto works (our AI partner)

Otto's responses are generated by a third-party AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude). When you chat with Otto, the text you send is transmitted to Anthropic to generate a reply, under their terms and privacy practices. We don't send them your email or payment details — just what's needed to build with you. Never paste passwords, bank details, or secrets into Otto or any AI tool.

What we never do

We never sell your data or hand it to advertisers.
We never claim your builds. What you make is 100% yours, forever.
We don't collect more than we need.

You own what you build

Every app, game, or project you create here belongs entirely to you — keep it, use it, sell it, build a business on it. We just teach you how.

Children

You must be at least 13 to use Otto, and we ask your birth year at signup to check. Builders aged 13–17 need a parent or guardian's permission. Otto is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them — if someone under 13 wants to build, a parent can create and supervise the account in their own name. Otto is also instructed never to ask kids for personal details. If you believe a child under 13 gave us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Staying safe with AI

A rule for everyone: never share passwords, bank info, or secrets with Otto or any AI tool. Otto will never ask for them.
